HYDERABAD: Union minister G. Kishan Reddy said that the Mann ki Baat programme taken up Prime Minister Narendra Modi had inspired the motto of service among the people. Modi had brought to the fore, the sacrifices of unsung heroes. Not only in India, NRIs in 100 countries watched the 100th programme of Mann ki Baat, he said.
The Union minister along with local BJP leaders watched the programme at Sanathnagar Assembly constituency on Sunday. Speaking on the occasion, Kishan Reddy said that at around 700 places under Secunderabad parliamentary constituency limits, people watched Mann ki Baat. Microsoft founder Bill Gates also took part in the programme, he added.
“Mann ki Baat is not a political programme, it creates awareness among people and boosts up morale to the unsung heroes and warriors of services,” he said. PM Modi has covered every key issue in the programme, he said and added that Modi had become a member of all families with its outreach.
