Maoist cadre suspected of putting anti-Dharani posters in Mulugu
HYDERABAD: Hours after posters came up across Mulugu district allegedly by the outlawed Maoists demanding the ruling BRS party government to remove the Dharani portal, officials from the special intelligence bureau (SIB) swung into action to identify the ‘culprits’ who had put up the posters, particularly at Jagannadhapuram junction.
Police personnel removed the posters in which the Maoists party alleged that Dharani portal data was being misused by political leaders, and the administration was usurping lands belonging to farmers.
They warned of a farmers’ revolution if the state government continued to harass and victimise them.
Sources said that the police have detained some suspects in this regard.
