Kurnool: District Collector G. Srijana has emphasized the importance of maintaining cleanliness not only within our homes but also in our local communities. She stressed that it is a social responsibility for every individual. To promote awareness of cleanliness as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign, the district administration organized a large-scale sanitation drive across the district.
During the cleaning programme in Kodumur town, the District Collector, along with Kodumur MLA J. Sudhakar and programme district nodal officer T. Nagaraja Naidu, participated in clearing waste and cleaning the roads. Officials from various departments, along with participation from the public and students, joined in cleaning roads, circles, and drains in the district.
Srijana expressed that the primary goal of making Kurnool district a garbage-free zone as part of the larger initiative for a garbage-free India. She called on the people to join this movement and work together to transform the district into a clean and green zone.
