PM Modi Announces Central Tribal University in Mulugu, National Turmeric Board

Hyderabad: It was Dasara Bonanza for Telangana people on Sunday. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced two major projects for Telangana. Days after introducing the Women's Reservation Bill in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who visited Mahbubnagar on Sunday, announced new initiatives such as -- national turmeric Board in Nizamabad and Tribal Central University in Mulugu.

In a public meeting, Narendra Modi said that they introduced the women's reservation Bill in Parliament without any interruption. The Central government has constructed many National Highways in Telangana by spending huge funds. The Prime Minister said that Rs 13,500 crores allocated for Telangana to initiate many development programs.

The festive season has started in Telangana following the Prime Minister's announcement of two prestigious projects for Telangana. "We are setting up a National Turmeric Board in the state. After Covid-19 pandemic, the country came to know the importance of turmeric. Telangana farmers will benefit greatly with the establishment of the turmeric Board," Prime Minister said.

Narendra Modi also announced that they would set up Central Tribal University in Mulugu district. We are starting a tribal university named Sammakka Saralamma with Rs 900 crores," Prime Minister said.
