30 counters set up in Tirupati to issues time-Slotted Sarva Darshan tokens

Tirupati: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has set up 30 counters with 10 counters each at Bhudevi Complex, Srinivasam and II NC (Govardhan Choultry) in Tirupati to issue the time-Slotted Sarva Darshan (SSD) tokens to devotees from Tuesday.

TTD executive officer A.V. Dharma Reddy, who has inspected all the counters here on Monday evening, said it has been decided to resume issuance of SSD tokens to devotees in Tirupati everyday till prescribed quota exhausts for the day, following a decision by the TTD Trust Board during its last meeting.

He said the devotees will get darshan only on the scheduled time on their tokens. Those who did not get tokens will have to go to Vaikuntam-II queue complex and wait in compartments and queue lines till their turn for darshan. As informed, on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays 25,000 tokens will be issued while on remaining days 15,000 tokens, he added and informed the devotees that Aadhaar ID cards are mandatory to book a darshan slot.
