Hyderabad: The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has officially taken over the security of Midhani (Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited) at Hyderabad on Tuesday during an event officiated by M. Nandan, DISG, CISF, southern zone, Dr Sanjay Kumar Jha, CMD and officials from the CISF and Midhani.
A total of 118 CISF personnel headed by an assistant commandant rank officer, have been deployed at this vital facility. With this induction, CISF is protecting a total 358 units across the country, CISF said in an official release on Wednesday.
Recognising the importance to safeguard Midhani and to ensure the highest level of security and safety standards, the decision to deploy CISF has been made.
“The induction of CISF personnel at the Midhani in Hyderabad is a part of the Government of India’s commitment to bolstering the protection of critical infrastructure, thereby ensuring the uninterrupted availability of essential super alloys for the nation,” said the release.
