Naidu\'s release sparks social media frenzy and controversy

Visakhapatnam: Telugu Desam supporters were ecstatic on Tuesday after Nara Chandrababu Naidu's release on a four-week bail in the Skill Scam case.

Many of them have taken to social media platforms, with hashtags such as "BossIsBack." Naidu's son, TD general secretary Nara Lokesh, wrote on Twitter, "Our prayers have been answered, he is back,” which was accompanied by the hashtag #SatyamevaJayate.

This tweet quickly became a rallying cry for TD supporters. They flooded the digital realm with messages celebrating their leader's return to their midst.

Several netizens joined the celebration. "Our lion is back with a bang," read one comment.

However, amid the jubilation, film director Ram Gopal Varma found himself mired in controversy. Earlier this week, he had caused public outrage by posting a selfie outside the Rajamahendravaram central jail, with the comment, "A selfie with Rajahmundry central jail, Me outside and He inside."

Many netizens took offense at his stunt and viewed it as being disrespectful to a senior political leader.

Opposition leaders felt the celebration of Naidu's release was unwarranted, as the bail was on health grounds for only four weeks.
