Nandyal Collector Instructs Medical Officials to Transfer Referred Patients

Kurnool: Nandyal district collector Dr Manazir Jeelani Samoon instructed medical officials on Tuesday to ensure the transfer of patients identified and referred in the Jagananna Suraksha camps to the respective hospitals. During a review meeting, the collector emphasized the need to address the pending cases and facilitate the transfer of around 3,500 cases.

Dr Samoon also expressed concern that only 1,64,449 people have downloaded the Aarogyasri app, falling short of the target of 10 lakh downloads. To address this, he directed the municipal commissioner and MPDOs to work towards achieving the set target.

The collector also recommended felicitating the medical officer in Peapully government hospital who has exceeded the delivery target.

Additional DM&HO Dr Sarada Bai, district coordinator of health services Dr Zafrullah, Government General Hospital superintendent Dr Varaprasad, DLDO Janardhan, and others attended the meeting.
