Learn about fundamental rights via App
KOZHIKODE: Here is a mobile application to help the school students easily understand the fundamental rights enshrined in the Indian Constitution. The specially designed application titled 'Easy App' has been developed by Mr Nasser Kunnamal, political science teacher of Fathimabi Memorial Higher Secondary School, Koombara, Kozhikode district.
This app that categorises the constitutional articles under six titles has bagged the second prize in the improvisation of teaching aids in the state Sastrolsav. "The fundamental rights featured in the Constitution, namely the right to equality, freedom, right against exploitation, right to freedom of religion and cultural and educational rights are categorised along with constitutional remedies," said Mr Nasser.
Anyone can learn these rights with the aid of visuals and audios in 15 minutes. Learners can clarify their doubts using android version like tab. "It is the first of its kind mobile app developed for the school students and it will compete for the national-level competition of Sastrolsav," he said. Mr Nasser, hailing from Narikuni, is also a member of Kerala textbook committee for HSS and has been developing novel methods to make teaching and learning process enjoyable and effective. He has also developed the teacher text for Plus-One and Plus-Two political science and text for higher secondary equivalency course.
