Visakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh State AIDS Control Society (APSACS) observed World AIDS Day in collaboration with various partners by organising a special event "Breakfast with Community" on Thursday.
The initiative has been taken up to foster community engagement among individuals affected by HIV.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by K. Koteshwari, APD APSACS, and T. Manjula, joint director, IEC and STI APSACS.
Children affected by HIV actively participated in the event, sharing their career goals and showcasing their talents. Many children took to the stage with enthusiastic dance performances, adding a vibrant touch to the event.
APSACS also organised painting and drawing competitions and awarded prizes to talented young participants.
