Vox pop:
I was able to take part in this camp for the second time and it was my dream to win the Best Cadet award from the Prime Minister. Since September we have been having strict and vigorous training. I stood forth in the Junior Wing. I have reached one milestone want to become an IAS officer. It was a bit challenging to take part in all the events and programmes. The schedule was really tight and we barely got any rest. But, in the end, it was all worth it. Initially it was difficult to adjust to the cold weather in Delhi.

From Secunderabad, we had 30 cadets taking part. My camp experience has been very refreshing. I had earlier participated in this camp and won the Best Cadet and this time, I won the third position in the senior division. The standard was very high. We got to visit the homes of senior Army officers. They gave us an insight into their lives. We interacted with the President and the Prime Minister. In the best cadet competition, we had a written examination, followed by rifle firing, standard drill an dgroup discussion, a formal debate and personal interview. Top four were interviewed by the Director-General, NCC.
