Good response for Jana Sena enrollment drive
Rajahmundry: Buoyed by the tremendous response from a large section of people including youth, intellectuals, professionals, retired employees and senior citizens to enroll in Jana Sena led by actor-politician Pawan Kalyan in Anantapur, North Andhra districts and GHMC, the party is taking up a similar drive in five districts in both AP and TS.
Jana Sena had enrolled as many as 3,600 persons to serve the party in the capacity as content writers, speakers and analysts when it started online enrolment for first time in Anantapur.
Similarly, nearly 4,000 persons from Visakhapatnam, 2,200 from Srikakulam, 1,600 from Vizianagaram and about 7,000 from Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation enrolled to serve the party.
At present, the party has started online enrolment of interested persons in three districts including East Godavari, Prakasam and Nellore in AP and two erstwhile districts including Adilabad and Nizamabad in Telangana.
The enrolment drive which commenced on May 31 will conclude on June 3.
Jana Sena leaders say that the online enrolment drive is only meant to find out the interested persons irrespective of their age, gender, caste, community, religion, region and other socio-economic aspects, to honestly serve people.
They say that as their party chief Pawan Kalyan wants to fight against injustice in any manner and they want to find out the persons who can serve people in the same spirit.
Selection of aspirants to serve as content writers, speakers and analysts in the party has the same motto, they added.
As the party has started the online enrolment for four days from Wednesday onwards, based on the number of persons enrolled, the party leadership will fix the venue and time to arrange a meeting where the party chief will address them.
In a phased manner, the party chief will hold a one-to-one meeting with the aspirants and find out their inherent talent and based on their merit, they will be entrusted with the task to strengthen the party base in their respective areas with an Assembly segment taken as a base unit.
The selected candidates, who will be given the party membership, will reach out to public and bring about awareness among them on the par-ty’s ideology and commitment.
Jana Sena state vice president B. Mahender Reddy said, “We are getting tremendous response from a wide section of society with the sole motto to serve the people representing Jana Sena in both AP and Telangana State. We are going to complete the ongoing online enrolment drive in about two months in both the states. As there is still ample time for elections, we are confident of building our cadre by that time and contest elections successfully.”
