A newer version of the Golconda's sound and light show will shortly be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, official sources said.
HYDERABAD: The city’s popular sound and light show at Golconda that is laced with the voice of Amitabh Bachchan and Jagjit Singh’s mellifluous ghazals, may soon be a thing of the past.
A newer version of this show will shortly be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, official sources said.
A highlight of the multilingual one-hour show is in the manner which there is illumination and the light getting diffused amid an ambience that has been captivating millions of viewers for years together.
The show is presently managed by the Telangana Tourism Development Corporation.
A senior official from the Union ministry of tourism said, “This show was initially developed by the central government.”
