Hyderabad: Justice B. Vijaysen Reddy of Telangana High Court on Friday imposed a penalty of Rs 25,000 on Veerabuchaiah, district panchayat officer, Karimnagar, for violating court orders.
A contempt plea was filed against him by Katla Mallikarjun contending that in spite of court orders, the officer did not oblige.
Earlier, one Katla Mallikarjun filed a writ petition seeking a direction to appoint him as a panchayat secretary in the vacancy earmarked for persons with partial vision or blindness with all consequential benefits.
