Minister B Nagendra Unveils Plans for Youth Upliftment and Talent Development
Ballari: Minister for Youth Empowerment, Sports, Scheduled Tribes Welfare, and Ballari District In-charge B Nagendra has announced plans to establish a state-level Youth Service Training Center in Hampi.
The announcement came during his address at the inauguration of the District-level Youth Festival held at the BDAA Football Ground auditorium on Friday.
During his speech, Minister B Nagendra outlined the plan, stating, "Twenty acres of land will be identified in Hampi or the Ballari area for setting up a State-level Youth Service Training Centre by the Department of Youth Empowerment to encourage the youth and contribute to their upliftment," he said adding that there is also a plan to organise a state-level youth festival program in Ballari.
He emphasized that school education is just one avenue and encouraged the youth to engage in various fields for personal advancement.
Minister Nagendra expressed confidence in the unique talents of every young individual, asserting, "Every young man and woman has different and unique talents. If you reach your goal with determination and work towards your objectives, success will be yours."
Minister Nagendra underscored the importance of instilling good qualities and culture, emphasizing that success is attainable through these values.
Advocating for a drug-free lifestyle, Minister Nagendra said that he has had discussions with Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao regarding the prohibition of hookah bars.
Reflecting on the significance of events like The Youth Festival, he remarked that such event woujld provide a platform for the youth to showcase their art and talents.
