HYDERABAD: The government issued guidelines to the Directorate of Medical Education for the transfer of professors, associate professors, and assistant professors in state-run hospitals. It said the guidelines will help address the issue of doctors who have been awaiting transfers.
As per the orders issued by health secretary S.A.M Rizvi, doctors can be transferred from one teaching hospital to another based on their qualifications and experience. Transfers shall be effected only to clear vacancies; employees who have completed two years of service in a station are eligible for transfer.
