Mercury may shoot up in AP
VISHAKHAPATNAM: Temperature is likely to shoot up in many parts of Andhra Pradesh by three to four degrees Celsius. At the same time, thundershowers are also likely in some places in north coastal and south coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema, a MET report has said.
Meanwhile, the southwest monsoon has further advanced into some more parts of South Arabian Sea and Maldives area, some parts of Lakshadweep, entire Comorin, some more parts of South Bay of Bengal and East Central Bay of Bengal.
A cyclonic circulation is lying over south Odisha and its neighbourhood at 1.5 km above mean sea level. Another cyclonic circulation, which is over south coastal Andhra Pradesh and neighbourhood at 1.5 km above mean sea level, has become less marked.
