VHR files plaint against Bhide remark on Sai Baba
Hyderabad: Senior TPCC leader V. Hanumantha Rao on Wednesday filed a complaint with Amberpet police seeking action against Sambhaji Bhide alias Manohar Bhide from Maharashtra for his objectionable remarks about Hindu gods.
In the complaint, Hanumantha Rao accused Bhide of making disrespectful comments about Shirdi Sai Baba, which hurt the sentiments of devotees. He also alleged that Bhide had made similar remarks about Mahatma Gandhi and his family, causing distress to people. Hanumantha Rao requested the police to take appropriate legal action against Bhide.
Hanumantha Rao warned that if the police failed to act promptly, devotees of Sai Baba would stage a dharna, demanding the immediate arrest of Bhide for making offensive comments.
