Hone ethical practices, Justice Kaul exhorts Nalsar graduates

HYDERABAD: Senior judge of the Supreme Court Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul stressed the need to uphold the morality of the Constitution, which recognizes plurality and diversity in the society.

Pointing out at the ongoing political speeches, Justice Kaul said “we are living in extremely polarised times as we find lots of instances of disturbing political speeches. These absurd and provocative statements evidence everyone is interested in defending political positions. But, this is against the principles as laid down by the Constitution. Everyone should follow the path of Dr. B.R Ambedkar.”

Justice Kaul was speaking at the twentieth annual convocation at Nalsar University of Law at Shamirpet here on Saturday.

Also gracing the occasion were Justice P.S. Narasimha, Supreme Court judge, Justice Alok Aradhe, Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court, who presided over the convocation as the varsity’s chancellor.

He said that the present period is a golden age for legal education as new methods of teaching are being introduced these days.
