IMD warns of heavy rains in parts of Telangana
Hyderabad: The IMD has issued an orange warning for the state as heavy to very heavy rains are very likely to be experienced in most places.
A thunderstorm warning has also been issued, while the city is also very likely to receive moderate rains and winds.
Under the impact of a cyclonic circulation, the state experienced heavy rains in many places on Saturday evening. The districts of Jagtial, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Rangareddy, Vikarabad experienced heavy rains.
The cyclonic circulation in the Bay of Bengal leading to a low pressure area around September 3, as well as two troughs – one from interior Karnataka to Comorin and Vidarbha and another from the cyclonic circulation to Andhra Pradesh — will bring heavy rains in the next three days.
