Another resolution wishing a speedy recovery of AIADMK Supremo and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa.

Puducherry: The main opposition All India NR Congress (AINRC) extended support to the AIADMK candidate in November 19 by-election for Nellithope
constituency.

Announcing the decision here on Wednesday, party chief and leader of opposition in Puducherry assembly N. Rangasamy said that a unanimous resolution to this effect was adopted at the executive committee meeting of the party on Wednesday.

Another resolution wishing a speedy recovery of AIADMK Supremo and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa, who is presently undergoing treatment in Apollo Hospitals Chennai was also adopted at the party meeting, he said.
Mr Rangasamy said that the election was forced on people, that too, a few months from the general election.

“Our party wants to teach Narayanasamy, who is responsible for this, an effective lesson. Hence the party decided to extend its support to AIADMK candidate Om Sakthi Sekar”, he said. A commitee is being formed to work the details on the campaign by the party.

Mr Rangasamy alleged that widespread irregularities are happening in the election, the ruling Congress party is misusing official power and money power to influence the voters. He added AINRC will be complaining to the Election commission about this.
