Saras in Vizianagaram logs ₹2.8 crore sales so far
Visakhapatnam: There has been an unprecedented response to Saras – the All India DWCRA Bazaar – organised by women’s groups in Vizianagaram. DRDA, YKP project director A. Kalyana Chakraborty said sales at Saras, which started on October 28, have already reached ₹2.8 crore.
The DWCRA Bazaar has been organised in Vizianagaram for the first time. There are total 194 stalls at the bazaar, including 45 from 15 other states of India. Merchandise available include clothes, handicrafts, decorative items and eatables. Saras includes cultural programmes from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Ends/RS
