Kakinada: Jaggampeta MLA Jyothula Chantibabu skipped the meeting of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy at Kakinada on Wednesday. Jagan had changed three constituency MLAs, including Chantibabu, in a recent reshuffle.
Pendam Dorababu (Pithapuram) and Parvatha Purnachandra Prasad (Prathipadu) were also changed in the reshuffle. Thota Venkata Narasimham (Jaggampeta), Vanga Githa (Pithapuram) and Varupula Subba Rao (Prathipudi) have been appointed incharges for these constituencies.
Dorababu and Prasad attended the Jagan meeting. Jagan greeted them by touching them on their shoulders.
Chantibabu, however, did not attend the meeting. He is reportedly looking towards other parties, in particular Jana Sena.
Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan is expected to meet Chantibabu soon.
