Hyderabad: A three-day multilingual theatre festival, featuring Hindi and Bengali plays, will be held at Lamakaan from March 24 to 26. It is being organised by the Shudrka Hyderabad Shilpitirtha Trust in association with Hyderabad Bengalee Samiti.
Plays that will be featured include ‘Ek Durachari Raja’ in Hindi, adapted from Albert Camus’s ‘Caligula’, ‘Hanskhalir Hans’ and ‘Tota Kohini’, written by Rabindranath Tagore, in Bengali.
Besides the plays, a workshop by Debashish Chatterjee, a make-up artist from Kolkata, will also be held.
