Govt to take a call on Paigah Palace soon
HYDERABAD: The state government is yet to decide on the fate of Paigah Palace, which was handed over to Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) by the US Consulate General on April 17, special chief secretary for MA&UD Arvind Kumar said here on Wednesday.
The government has asked HMDA to take possession of the building and hold it till it makes a decision on how to put it to use, he told reporters.
It was learnt that among the ideas that were bounced around was to convert the Paigah Palace into a heritage hotel.
