VIJAYAWADA: YSR Congress Party state general secretary Nandamuri Lakshmi Parvathi has demanded a CBI investigation into the suicide by NTR’s daughter Umamaheswari.
Addressing media here on Wednesday, she said there are suspicions that TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu is responsible for her untimely death. As such, Naidu himself should write a letter asking for a CBI investigation into the suicide.
“If Chandrababu does not write the letter, I shall write it myself seeking a CBI probe,”Lakshmi Parvathi stated.
She underlined that Umamaheswari had been a very brave and educated woman and it is a mystery that she committed suicide. She said news is doing rounds that Chandrababu and his son Lokesh quarrelled with Umamaheswari over property.
“As there are too many suspicions with regard to the matter, a CBI probe will unveil the reality,” Lakshmi Parvathi added.
