Vijayawada: Seeking world peace, Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO) is organising a “Jeetho Ahimsa Marathon” in Vijayawada on April 2.
NTR district collector Dr. S. Dilli Rao released a poster in this regard at his camp office in Vijayawada on Saturday.
The collector said the marathon will be run under three categories – 3 km, 5 km and 10 km.
JITO is conducting this marathon in 65 cities across the country on April 2.
Dilli Rao praised the organisers for endeavouring towards world peace. He urged men, women and children to participate in the marathon on April 2 and make it a success.
JITO Vijayawada chapter chief secretary Manith Doshi, JITO chairman Ashok Golisha, women wing chairperson Tripti Jain and chief secretary Sangeetha Neenavarth were among those present.
