VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy participated in a Shanti Yagnam organised at the Goshala in his Camp Office in Tadepalli on Sunday.
The Chief Minister had taken up the ritual on the first day of the Ashtottara Satha Kundatmaka (108) Chandi, Rudra, Raja Syamala, Sudarshana Sahitha Sri Lakshmi Maha Yagnam. He also participated in the Poornahuti programme on the last day.
With the Sri Lakshmi Maha Yagnam completed successfully, Vedic pandits advised him to organise the Shanti Yagnam. Accordingly, he participated in the yagnam on Sunday.
Deputy Chief Minister (endowments) K. Satyanarayana supervised arrangements for the yagnam.
