WARANGAL: Commissioner of Police Amber Kishor Jha issued orders suspending traffic assistant sub-inspector (ASI) David on charges of taking bribe from traffic violators in Hanamkonda on Saturday.
Two persons riding two-wheelers without license were caught by the traffic police during a vehicle check at Mulugu crossroads. The traffic constable took the bikers to ASI David, who demanded money instead of taking action against them. When ASI was taking money from the bikers, he was filmed by an unknown person from a building and it was posted on social media platforms that went viral later.
After carrying out an inquiry, police commissioner Kishor Jha issued the orders suspending the Traffic ASI for taking bribe.
