Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra enters AP
Vijayawada: Union deputy minister for health Dr Bharti Praveen Pawar said that Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra strives to make India into a developed country by 2047, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi guarantees development of every village.
Dr. Pawar started the yatra's programme in Nandigama’s Kanchikacherla marketing yard on Saturday.
The minister said that the yatra is being held across the country from November 15. She said that with the intention of ensuring that the schemes reach all beneficiaries, they were going to every village. She urged all eligible persons to register immediately for availing of the scheme benefits. She said that so far more than 61,000 people, including 34,000 women, have attended the yatra programmes. Around 37,000 persons have undergone health tests through health camps.
Dr Pawar said that the women of self-help groups will be trained on using kisan drones in order to increase their participation in the agricultural sector. She stated that as part of this, the government is also working to lead Andhra Pradesh on the path of development and called upon everyone to participate in achieving the goals of Viksit Bharat and work to make India No 1 in all fields.
The minister inspected the information, education, communication (IEC) vehicle carrying exhibits of all central government’s yojanas, on the occasion.
