Security detail of CM checks Rushikonda camp office site

VISAKHAPATNAM: Reports that Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy will be shifting to Visakhapatnam found strength when his security personnel checked up a site under construction in the Rushikonda area of Visakhapatnam on Saturday.

Sources said the team inspected the place in detail, including what could be the CM’s camp office. They even checked the interior designs.

Interestingly, TTD chairman and YSRC regional coordinator Y.V. Subba Reddy went on to comment on the day at the Vizag – One India meeting that Visakhapatnam will soon become the administrative capital.

“Visakhapatnam will become the Mumbai of South India. The CM will be coming to Visakhapatnam within two to three months. His arrival has been delayed only due to legal issues,” Subba Reddy observed.

He went on to state that Visakhapatnam is an ideal place for people of all regions to live. Vizag will grow further once people from all regions of the state participate in its development, he remarked.

Recently, when Kola Guruvulu took charge as YSRC’s district party president, he had commented that the Chief Minister’s camp office will shift to Visakhapatnam by Dasara.

YSRC leaders are hoping that with construction at the Rushikonda site going on at a fast pace, Jagan Mohan Reddy will “very soon” shift from Tadepalli to Rushikonda.
