Final written exam for AP police SI posts on October 14 - 15

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh State Police Recruitment Board on Thursday reiterated that the final written examination for recruitment to the posts of stipendiary cadet trainee (SCT) sub-inspectors (Civil & Reserve), both men and women, will be held on October 14 and October 15.

In the wake of a section of aspirants demanding postponement of the exam, board chairman Atul Singh pointed out that they had issued the notification for recruitment way back on November 28 last year. Physical measurement and physical efficiency tests had been conducted from August 25 to September 25 at Visakhapatnam, Eluru, Guntur and Kurnool.

The candidates short-listed will now have to take their final written examination on October 14 and October 15. The examination will comprise four question papers, two descriptive and two objective.

Atul Singh said all candidates will have to answer their descriptive Paper-I on October 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and descriptive Paper-II on the same day between 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. On October 15, candidates will have to answer their objective Paper-III from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and objective Paper-IV between 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Examinations on both these days will be held at four locations in the state – Visakhapatnam, Eluru, Guntur and Kurnool. The recruitment board chairman said candidates may download their hall tickets from 11:00 a.m. on October 6 till October 12 from the website "siprb.ap.gov.in".
