Adilabad: Mancherial MLA Premsagar Rao released water into the distributary canals from the Gudem Lift Irrigation Project in Dandepalli mandal on Saturday.
Premsagar Rao said that they released the water from the 30th distributary canal of Thanimadugu to the 42nd distributor canal in Hajipur, to cater to the needs of cultivation for the Rabi season in the Dandepalli and Hajipur mandals of the Mancherial Assembly constituency.
Collector Badawath Santhosh and irrigation officials were present. On the other hand, the MLA participated in the Praja Palana programme held in the old Mancherial and Naspur and received applications from the people where hundreds of applicants and party cadres were present.
