Dalit leaders urge CM to revoke cases

VIJAYAWADA: Social welfare minister Merugu Nagarjuna, YSRC MP Nandigam Suresh and Madiga Welfare Corporation chairman K. Kanaka Rao called on Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy at the camp office here on Thursday.

For the past few months, Dalit organisations have been demanding the Government to revoke the cases filed against their activists who participated in the Kurukshetra Mahasabha during Telugu Desam rule in 2017.

Bringing it to the Chief Minister’s notice, the leaders urged him to revoke the cases to which he responded positively.
