Kurnool: Boulders were found on the Srisailam-Hyderabad road on Tuesday, and luckily, no damages were reported as vehicle traffic was relatively low at the time.
Commuters attribute the boulder’s fall to heavy rainfall, emphasising the need for officials to monitor such incidents. The Nandyal district has experienced heavy rains for several days, with suspicions that the water flow from the reservoir gates may have caused the boulders to dislodge.
The R&B department officials have said that they are closely monitoring the situation and will take necessary measures to ensure the safety of commuters.
