Dull weather, light rains expected in coming days

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad has been experiencing colder mornings and evenings apart from being cloudy which is likely to continue for the coming days.

According to the IMD, the deep depression over Southeast and adjoining the
Southwest Bay of Bengal had moved west-northwestwards and is very likely to
intensify into a cyclonic storm and reach the Southwest Bay of Bengal adjoining the south Andhra Pradesh coast in the next two days.

Meanwhile, the lowest minimum temperature in the state was recorded at 10.9º
Celsius in Sirpur in Komaram Bheem district, while Medak remained the coldest district in the state at 12.8º Celsius. Nizamamabad witnessed the highest departure of 3.5º Celsius from the normal minimum temperature and recorded 17.4º Celsius.

Shivaramapally recorded the lowest temperature of 14.7º Celsius.

The IMD has predicted that dry weather is very likely to prevail over the next two days throughout the state, following which light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur at isolated places.

Moreover, some districts are likely to experience low temperatures in the range of 8-10º Celsius, such as Komaram Bheem, Ranga Reddy, Kamareddy, Mancherial and a few others.

The sky in Hyderabad will remain generally cloudy and mornings will remain hazy or misty for the next two days and most of the areas are likely to experience temperatures in the range of 11-13º Celsius, such as Hayathnagar, Khairatabad, Malkajgiri, Mehdipatnam and others.
