Hyderabad: The Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI), Hyderabad hosted a public lecture on the ‘Role of Innovation & Technology in Energy Transition & Decarbonisation’ by Matt O’Keeffe, head of Opower-Oracle Energy & Water on Tuesday.
The lecture was attended by bureaucrats, energy industry professionals, policymakers, and students.
The significance of innovation and technology in the energy transition and decarbonisation process and also the significant role of customers in achieving the goal were discussed.
Matt emphasised the importance of customer action and behaviour science in the transition towards a greener and more sustainable energy future. The audience then engaged in a lively discussion on the current challenges and opportunities in the energy sector and the role of innovation in addressing these issues.
