Minister Rajini stresses on use of modern technology to save lives of patients
Vijayawada: Minister for health Vidadala Rajini has stressed on the importance of using state-of-the-art technology to save the lives of patients in providing emergency healthcare.
A delegation of health experts from the British government's National Health Service (NHS) called on the minister at the health department headquarters in Mangalagiri on Friday as part of the commencement of training to the emergency medical technicians (EMTs) working in 108 ambulances.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajini said that the EMTs would be trained on the latest methods being adopted by the NHS to provide emergency healthcare to patients. She also said that the government is committed to providing quality healthcare to all citizens, and that the use of modern technology is an important part of this commitment.
