Kakinada: Amalapuram municipal commissioner Ayyappa Naidu cautioned people not to get into the Godavari main canal in Amalapuram, Konaseema district, due to crocodile movement.
He said the crocodile was moving from Nadipudi Locks to the Yerra Vanthena (Redbridge) main canal. The irrigation and forest departments are trying to trace its movement.
Naidu requested people to be cautious when getting into canals in their respective areas.
