Kurnool: A 29-year-old woman named Rangamma died by suicide in Daivamdinne village in Yemmiganur mandal on Saturday. Rangamma was distressed by family disputes and had engaged in heated arguments with her in-laws, Lakshmi and Giddaiah, earlier in the morning. Subsequently, she took the extreme step.
Her family rushed her to the local government hospital for medical treatment. But Rangamma health condition deteriorated and she died in the evening while receiving treatment. Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the matter. Yemmiganur Rural sub inspector Niranjan Reddy confirmed that a case has been registered under Section 174 of the CrPC.
