A Philippines-based company has acquired an Indian company that manages the Telangana government's Dharani portal.
HYDERABAD: The Adibatla police on Friday registered cases against two outsourcing computer operators of the Rangareddy collectorate for allegedly misusing the Dharani portal, allegedly uploading and deleting certain data. No one has been arrested.
Adibatla inspector P. Raghuveer Reddy said that the collectorate administration officer Prameela Rani on Friday lodged a complaint alleging that some data was misused from the Darani portal by the duo.
The collectorate staff initiated an inquiry and after securing a report approached the police. The inspector said that the police initiated an investigation based on a complaint and are yet to identify the accused. Police would also probe based on technical evidence.
