Srisailam gears up for vibrant Samuhika Bhogi Pallu celebrations
Kurnool: Marking a joyous prelude to the grand Sankranti Brahmotsavam, the Srisailam temple will host the vibrant Samuhika Bhogi Pallu ceremony on January 14, coinciding with the auspicious Bhogi festival. This unique ritual, deeply rooted in the preservation of Sanatana Dharma, promises a delightful spectacle for families and devotees.
The ceremony, commencing at 10 am, unfolds at the Akkamahadevi Alankara Mandapam within the temple complex. Here, children up to five years old will be showered with an abundance of fruits, symbolising blessings and prosperity bestowed upon them during this auspicious time.
To seamlessly manage the festivities, the temple administration encourages interested families to pre-register their children. Registration remains open until 5 pm on January 13 and can be completed through the public relations department at the temple office.
