Term of housing corporation directors extended
Vijayawada: The state government has extended the tenure of the 14-member Board of Directors of the AP State Housing Corporation to enable them complete construction/ distribution of another five lakh houses under YSRC government’s flagship Navaratnalu-Pedalandariki Illu mega house scheme.
Stating this here on Monday, corporation chairman Davuluri Dorababu told the 35th board meeting that all should work hard and complete the construction of houses in the Jagananna colonies. These houses, he said, are currently under construction across districts.
The state government has extended the tenure of the directors for an indefinite period.
Dora Babu said,”Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy wishes to complete the construction of the houses for the poor with all the facilities under flagship Navaratnalu-Pedalandariki Illu. Every director should visit these upcoming colonies and coordinate with the beneficiaries for the speedy completion of the construction.
Dorababu said the construction of another five lakh houses should be completed as soon as possible and the house warming ceremony will be done by the chief minister. Managing director of the state housing corporation, Lakshmisha, said that as per the instructions of the CM, “we are working hard.”
Board directors K. Bhaskaranaidu, K. Vijaya Kumar, Ramadevi, Peddi Raju, Uppada Siva Reddy and others expressed their gratitude to the chief minister for extending their tenure to “serve the people”. Executive director B. Chandrasekhar and chief engineer V. Prasad were present.
