Stage set for celestial wedding in Bhadrachalam
Bhadrachalam: The stage is set for celestial wedding in Bhadrachalam to be held on April 10. There is no official confirmation whether Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao will bring Mutyala Talambralu and pattu vastralu. The Chief Minister has not attended Sriramanavami for last five years. Minister for Endowments A. Indrakaran Reddy will bring the Mutyala talabralu in absence of the Chief Minister.
Temple officials have made all arrangements for the divine wedding and counters will set up to distribute akshithalu to the devotees. Drinking water and butter milk packets will be made available to the devotees. About four lakh laddus are being prepared for distribution on the Sriramanavami Day. About 200 sanitation workers are being involved to make the temple town clean.
Warning sign boards have been set up at Godavari where the waters are deep. Officials have reserved luxury rooms in the temple for VIPs visiting the celestial wedding. The health department has been directed to set up additional medical camps keeping in view the rising temperatures. ORS packets will be available in these camps and the devotees can get them at free of cost.
Rituals like Agniprathista, Dwajarohanam and Chathusthanarchana were performed in the temple as part of Brahmostavam on Friday.
