HC stayed relocation of students from Hostels of SC Study Circle to other hostels

Hyderabad: Justice Mummineni Sudheer Kumar of the Telangana High Court stayed a proposal to relocate students staying in the hostels of the Scheduled Caste Study Circle at Hyderabad to other hostels near it.

The judge directed the social welfare department officers to submit a report mentioning the facilities available for the students at the new accommodation by May 18.

Some students approached the court stating that without mentioning reasons, the authorities were planning to relocate them and the new accommodation lacked basic facilities.
