KTR to inaugurate IT HUB in Siddipet on June 15: Harish Rao
Hyderabad: Stating that the state government had taken initiatives to provide employment opportunities to youth, finance minister T. Harish Rao on Friday said that at least 150 local youths would find placement at IT Hub which was coming up at Siddipet.
Harish Rao visited the IT Hub premises and reviewed the ongoing works on Friday. He interacted with the district collector and briefed him on the inaugural. IT minister K.T. Rama Rao would inaugurate the IT Hub in Siddipet on June 15.
Apart from those placed in the IT Hub, a number of youths will get jobs indirectly. A mega job mela will be held at the Police Convention Hall in Siddipet in which 11 companies will recruit candidates, Harish Rao said.
Prior to visiting the IT Hub, Harish Rao distributed 30 tri-wheeler vehicles to differently abled persons at the camp office in Siddipet. Speaking on the occasion, the minister the government had provided financial assistance for distributing free vehicles.
"The government provides Rs 3,000 pension for differently abled persons every month The states where Congress and BJP are in power provide only Rs 500. Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has taken measures to provide financial assistance for differently abled persons. The government also provides Kalyana Laxmi scheme and other welfare activities," the minister said.
The government also provides free bus fare to differently abled persons to travel in TSRTC buses and asked them to apply for passes at the minister's camp office.
