AP Flood-hit Operations Earns Jagan Victims' Goodwill
The flood-hit people expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for “all the help” he extended to them during the floods in Godavari, and said they wanted him to remain for long as CM.
When the CM inquired with the flood-hit whether they got all relief in the form of 25 kg rice and other essentials, the '2,000 as flood relief to their houses and '10,000 for repair of thatched houses, they responded in a chorus and thanked the CM.
Pothula Bharathi said, “I never expected Jagan to visit my village. No official visited my village at the time of floods in the past. I am delighted to see our CM here and I could talk to him. This was like a dream come true.”
She told the CM, “Sir, your schemes are great. We are all getting a lot of benefits in the last four years of your rule. We all want you to be our CM for a long time. Based on your instructions, the district collector sent the village volunteer to our houses to enquire about our situation. We got financial aid of '2,000 and '10,000. We are really indebted to the CM sir, for the help.”
K. Rajani said, “Sir, we want you to be our CM for all the time for the reason that your schemes like Amma Vodi are really helping us. We are indebted to you for all that you are doing to us. We never got such relief from the state government earlier.”
Nakka Srinivas said, “We received all the support from the government at a time when we were so desperate for help while facing the fury of Godavari floods.” Durga Devi said, “We are all happy that we received timely help from the authorities and we all eligible persons received the financial aid of '2,000 and '10,000. You will be in our hearts forever, Sir.”
Nagaveni said, “We are all happy that the CM visited our village and talked to us to know about our problems. We are confident that as long as you serve as our CM, we will get all support from you.”
