I-DAY: VWR to lead 'Mera Bharat Mahan' pledge
HYDERABAD: As part of the 76th Independence Day celebrations, city-based Viswaguru World Records (VWR) will lead an initiative titled 'Mera Bharat Mahan' where students will make a collective pledge to practice the moral values represented by the 24 spokes of the Ashoka Chakra in the National Flag.
The school education department would ensure that all school students participate in this programme, which would be held from 9 am to 10 am on August 14.
Schools, colleges and other organisations can register for free by filling out the Google Form on the organisation's website www.viswaguruworldrecords.com.
Participation e-certificates will be sent to all these organisations. "Through this pledge, students and others learn about the importance of the 24 values represented by the 24 spokes of the Ashoka Dharma Chakra, which go a long way in the moral development of a citizen," said Satyavolu Rambabu, founder-CEO of VWR, in a statement.
