Hyderabad: A day after animal keeper Mohd. Shahbaz was killed by an elephant, the forest department paid the victim’s family an ex gratia of Rs 5 lakh and assured that a family member would get a government job.

Dobriyal (head of forest Forces), PCCF Lokesh Jaiswal (wildlife), chief warden V.S.N.V. Prasad and zoo curator Sunil S. Hiremath tributes to Shahbaz.
