WARANGAL: Mahbubabad MLA Banoth Shankar Naik has tested positive for Coronavirus. The ruling party legislator made the announcement himself, asking party workers and people who have interacted with him to undergo Covid-19 test.
“After I felt unwell in the morning, I went for the test, which came out positive. Currently, my health condition is safe. There is no need to worry. Party workers and all people of the constituency can call me on 9908903555 and 9989303555,” the ruling TRS legislator stated.
His support staff, who subsequently went for Coronavirus test, have, however, come out negative.
Shankar Naik, along with several other TRS leaders, had attended the wedding of Enumamula Agriculture Market chairman A. Sadanandam’s daughter on Saturday.
